Sheila Stampfli Named Chairman of
PCMA Education Foundation Board of Trustees
WASHINGTON, DC – February 23, 2005 – Courtesy Associates President Sheila Stampfli has been named the 2005 Chairman of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Education Foundation’s Board of Trustees. PCMA is the professional resource and premier educator for the meetings and convention industry. Formed in 1985, the PCMA Education Foundation is focused on fundraising and grant-giving to projects, products and services designed to advance the meetings and conventions industry. During the past 20 years, the Foundation has developed numerous outstanding educational offerings and has contributed to the creation of important research for the industry. In 2005, the Foundation will focus its monetary support on increasing educational offerings for the senior level meeting and convention planner, and on the development of a university-level curriculum for those interested in pursuing a career in the meetings and convention industry.
